🚨 MOVE OVER OR GET PULLED OVER 🚨

The Pinebluff Police Department is proud to support North Carolina’s “Move Over or Get Pulled Over” campaign — a statewide highway safety initiative focused on protecting law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, tow truck operators, and highway maintenance workers who work along our roadways every day.

Led by the N.C. Governor’s Highway Safety Program, this campaign combines increased enforcement with public awareness to remind drivers of the importance of slowing down and moving over when approaching emergency or service vehicles stopped on the roadside with flashing lights activated.

⚠️ North Carolina law requires drivers to:
➡️ Move over one lane when possible
➡️ Slow down if changing lanes is unsafe

A simple decision to move over can save a life.

Please help keep our first responders and roadside workers safe. Stay alert, avoid distractions, and give them the space they need to do their jobs safely.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to host BC3 Technologies at the Pinebluff Public Safety Building for a live demonstration of their SEAL Hemostatic Wound Spray. This innovative product is designed to rapidly control bleeding in emergency situations and can be a valuable tool for law enforcement and first responders in the field.

During the visit, Art Rosen with BC3 Technologies demonstrated how the product works and discussed situations where it can be used to help stabilize traumatic injuries until advanced medical care arrives.

In addition to the demonstration, BC3 Technologies generously donated two K9 trauma kits—one to the Pinebluff Police Department and one to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office. These kits will help ensure our K9 partners have life-saving equipment available if they are ever injured in the line of duty. 🐕‍🦺

We appreciate BC3 Technologies taking the time to share their knowledge and for their commitment to supporting law enforcement and protecting our K9 officers.

Thank you for your support!

The Pinebluff Police Department had the pleasure of attending the Moore County Schools Career Fair, where officers engaged with students to discuss careers in law enforcement and public service.
Throughout the event, officers interacted with high school students from across the county, answering questions, sharing real-world experiences, and providing insight into the responsibilities, challenges, and rewards of a career in policing.

We truly enjoyed engaging with the students and appreciate the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful event, building positive relationships with our youth and helping guide the next generation is an important part of our commitment to the community

The Pinebluff Police Department would like to thank Moore County Schools CTE Department for hosting a successful event that promotes education, career exploration, and community partnership.
