The Montgomery County Democratic Party in conjunction with the James Talarico Campaign is hosting a food drive right here in Conroe! We can all get behind the Love Thy Neighbor message!

The Love Thy Neighbor Grocery Drive is bringing Republicans, Democrats, and Independents together across the state to provide much-needed relief to middle- and working-class Texans who could use an extra hand.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard the same thing from voters again and again: "No one has ever knocked on my door."

For years, our community went without real choices on the ballot in some races. But this year is completely different: we have candidates.

Our entire Get Out The Vote strategy isn’t built on expensive consultants or out-of-state mailers. We don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay private firms to knock doors. What we have is something far more powerful: our neighbors, our precinct chairs, our candidates, and folks who care too much to sit on the sidelines.

We are meeting people where they are, face-to-face, one porch at a time. When a real neighbor shows up to listen, people vote.

Too much is at stake to let this election slip away because we didn’t show up. Whether you can walk one block or five, pair up with a friend or fly solo, we need you on the doors as we approach the midterms.
