Today around 1:15pm Pineland VFD was dispatched to a tractor fire on a pipeline just south of the Charlie Forse Rd. Tractor was a total loss, but PFD was able to keep it from spreading into the nearby wood line. Bronson VFD assisted

Why would the FIRE DEPARTMENT share this??? Well think of every time we have to set up a life flight, we use the AIRPORT!! Also if there is a medical jet that comes in, it lands at the airport. The city has to raise 20% of the funds and a grant pays for the rest. Around 5pm this evening Pineland VFD responded to a one vehicle accident on FM 2426 at the city limits. NO injuries reported!
