The Tampa Bay Times pens that public school students would only be interested in reading if p**n is left in schools. No other titles are capable of holding their attention.

On July 18th, 2023 PCSB met to discuss school board business including the existence of p**n within the school system.

Carol Cook justified her inaction on the graphic depictions of pe******ia and r**e in the 86 titles with over 848 copies because she "could run into some issues and some problems around election time."

Lisa Cane maintained she feels unqualified to make decisions on p**n.

Eileen Long advocated for parents and guardians who may want their kids to read p**n and the school board should not interfere with that parental right.
