The Town of Pinetop-Lakeside is a small community in northeastern Arizona that provides a variety of attractions. We have many festivals, artistic shows and fairs during our perfect weathered summers. Fall is gorgeous...a short ride up the mountain will provide one with an unmeasurable scenic adventure. Our winters include snow and we are the main lodging area for snowboarders and skiers alike on

their way to Sunrise Ski Resort. Spring in our Town is robust. There is absolutely nothing like the crisp, clean air that surrounds our community; brought down from the plentiful ponderosa pines, spread across the small lakes, rivers and streams. We have a variety of shops and merchants in our Town; for a very unique shopping experience.

We can’t wait to see everyone tonight for our first movie of the summer!

This Saturday, June 13, we are thrilled to have Greg Kruel back to talk about beekeeping. He presented before people arrived in the area for the summer, and we received criticism for having him too early. So now you have absolutely no excuse and must come.🙂

Another windy and dry day will result in red flag conditions across much of northern Arizona today. Any fires that start will have the potential to rapidly spread. Avoid burning or any outside activity that could produce sparks. Follow all fire restrictions in your area.

Arizona is growing and we want your input!

As part of our Next Move Arizona statewide listening tour, we're hosting a virtual public meeting to hear about your transportation challenges and needs.

📆Tuesday, June 16
🕝6 p.m.
🔗Register now: nextmoveaz.com

The session will feature remarks by ADOT Director Jennifer Toth, followed by an interactive session to gather feedback on transportation issues and priorities and a demonstration of an online mapping tool to provide location-specific comments.

“We have visited locations around the state with a goal of strengthening the connection between our transportation system and the communities it serves,” Toth said. “This interactive virtual session is a chance for us to hear from those we may not get to see in person.”

Can’t make the meeting? You can still participate anytime through the online survey and commenting on an interactive map.

The Next Move Arizona listening tour launched in late 2025 and is scheduled to continue through July. To date, the tour has included approximately 60 in-person listening sessions throughout the state with cities and towns, tribal nations, regional planning organizations and community organizations, as well as Next Move Arizona booths at 14 community events.
