Easter is right around the corner, and you know what that means! It’s time for Easter Eggs!!!! Let us take care of the egg filling and hiding this year so you can enjoy more time with your kids and not have to worry about it!

You can choose candy filled eggs, toy filled eggs, or a mixture of both to be delivered and hidden the night before Easter! We will come out after dark on April 4th to hide the eggs and your kids will wake up to a great Easter surprise from the Easter Bunny!

Update as of 1245 the roadway is back open.

Road Closure:
No traffic is being allowed through the stop light in Pineville. Business 71 is shut down from Route EE to Route H, W Hwy is closed at Rhine St, and Elk River Rd is shut down at Business 71.

The Pineville Jane Summer Ball Program will also be doing signups at the Community Center from 8-1030.

When a burn ban is issued it is for a reason. What started as a small fire in a fire ring quickly turned into an approximately 65 acre fire in Huckleberry State Forest this afternoon. Your Pineville firefighters along with White Rock FPD and Missouri Department of Conservation with their dozer battled this fire all afternoon and into the night. Please do not do anything outside with open flames or sparks, the conditions are right for fast spreading fires and it’s not worth the risk.

If you were responsible for this fire that was left unattended or know who was please let us or the McDonald County Sheriff’s office know.

COUNTY WIDE BURN BAN
The McDonald County Commission has issued a COUNTY WIDE BURN BAN until further notice!!! NO Outside Burning due to the drought, high winds, and very low humidity.

We would like to give a huge shoutout to our Pineville Missouri Fire Department Auxiliary for their continuous support of our fire district. This is a picture of new Milwaukee battery powered tools (Sawzall, Grinder, Leaf Blower and 2 Light Towers) that they recently donated to us! These tools will improve our response capabilities and responder/patient safety in times of need! We would like to say THANK YOU for all they do for us day in and day out. Some may notice the truck they are on is new to our fleet as well, we will post more on it shortly once the graphics are complete.
