We’re proud to have a beautiful town and public spaces—like our pavilion—that everyone can enjoy. These areas are here for families, friends, and community members to gather, relax, and make great memories.

However, we want to remind everyone that when you use our public facilities, please clean up afterward. Leaving behind trash or decorations is not only disrespectful to your neighbors who share these spaces—it can also be considered littering under West Virginia law.

Our officers and town employees work hard to keep Pineville looking clean and welcoming, but we need your help to keep it that way. Let’s all do our part to take pride in our community and keep Pineville a place we can all be proud of. 💙

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our town clean!

🚨 Traffic Advisory – Pineville Schools Drop-Off & Pick-Up 🚨

The Pineville Police Department is asking parents and guardians to please help keep traffic moving safely during drop-off and pick-up at Pineville Elementary and Pineville Middle School.

When the line backs up out into the main road, do not stop and wait on the main road. Instead, pull off so that traffic on the roadway can continue to flow. Stopping on the roadway creates safety hazards and traffic delays.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school zones safe and traffic moving smoothly.

Summer is here! Which means vacation time! 🌴☀️🏖️

We take pride in trying to make The Town of Pineville one of the safest places to live in the State of WV. Protecting you, your children, your buisnesses and your property.

Being on vacation can be stressful, knowing you are leaving valuable property that you have worked extremely hard for behind.

Call us or stop in during buisness hours and let us know when you will be gone so our officers can do a residential check during the day and nights while you are gone.

You can reach us at 304-732-6255 ext. 104

We hope you have a fun safe summer!
