The McDonald County Health Department had the opportunity to get some free reading glasses from a partner and wanting to pass them along. They are +1.00 and +1.50 reader glasses.

We have already given a hand full out to the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson.

If you need a pair or know someone that does, please stop by and pick up a pair until they are gone.

We also have medication disposal pouches available. These are pouches you can put your old medication into and it deactivates those medicines and then you can dispose of the pouch into the regular trash.

The McDonald County Health Department would like to thank the McDonald County R-1 Schools and the Goodman Elementary School that helped us by opening up and letting us use their facilities to do some back to school vaccinations!!!

We finished up our "road trip" this year at the NoelNoel back to school block party on Main street last night in the park and even though it was very very warm we loved seeing the kids and community coming together.

Remember McDonald County that school starts next Monday and we will be open to provide any vaccinations - Monday-Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm and Thursday from 7:30am-4:00pm.

I would like to thank the staff that has helped with these clinics, we have a fantastic crew!!!

No appointment required.
