Once Upon A Friday

Once Upon A Friday We are a weekly family literacy event designed to promote & build awareness of the life-long impact of family literacy on early reading and writing skills.

Once Upon A Friday is a weekly family literacy event at Bell Central School. Family members of students enrolled in grades K-3 grade are invited to stop by on Friday mornings 7:30-8:30, or in the afternoon 3:00-4:00 to read with their child/children. Volunteers are also needed to help fill the void for families who are not able to participate in the event. If you would like to volunteer to read to a child, please contact me at [email protected]!

UPDATE: There is still a few spots left for Story Time on the Square. Call and register today to reserve a spot. Last day to register is June 30th.

Due to construction on the square, this year Story Time on the Square has been moved to the Bell County Cooperative Extension Office located in the basement of the old courthouse. If you have children between the ages of 5 & 7 and would like for them to participate in this FREE program, call the Extension Office @ 337-2376 to register. Space is limited.
