We greatly appreciate the public’s assistance in this matter, the child’s guardian has been located. A thorough investigation has been spearheaded.

The Middlesboro Police Department is urgently appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a parent or guardian of a small child that was located walking around the S. 38th Street / Pinnacle Homes area of Middlesboro. The child is approximately three years of age and can only advise that his name is possibly Aiden or Caiden. If you have any information on a parent or guardian please contact the Middlesboro Police Department at 606-248-3636.

The Bell County Sheriff's Department and Bell County Emergency Management have issued a GOLDEN ALERT for Michael Shackleford of Middlesboro, KY. Mr. Shackleford is a 49 year old white male, 6 feet tall, and 200lbs. Mr. Shackleford was last seen walking near his home on 35th Street in Middlesboro on October 15th at approximately 2:45pm. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black jogging pants. Mr. Shackleford has a mental disorder and maybe confused.
