Friendly reminder that the 20 mph speed limit through Main Street isn’t a suggestion- it’s the law! 👮🏽‍♂️ Slow down when traveling through Main Street and remember speed limits are in place for a reason 🛑

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE REMINDER⚠️

This morning, beginning at 9 a.m., North Polk Street will be temporarily closed from Industrial Drive to Main Street for approximately 15–30 minutes.

Both northbound and southbound lanes will be closed while traffic arms are installed for the Fire Department.

Please plan to use an alternate route during this time.

Polk Street will be closed to through traffic from 9:00–10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, from the intersection of N. Polk Street/Hwy 51 to N. Polk Street/Industrial Drive.

Vehicle traffic may use Industrial Drive to Cranford.

Tractor-trailers must use Rodney Street to Westinghouse Boulevard.

Expect delays in the area.

⚠️Attention Pineville Residents⚠️

Thursday, August 27th, Trull Contracting will be performing utility work for Utility Pole Installation at Miller Road beginning at 8 AM.

The work will involve installing a steel utility pole that will connect the transmission line from Duke Energy to our facilities. This infrastructure will ultimately provide power to energize our new substation.

Expected completion: Thursday, August 27

Residents and motorists in the adjacent neighborhoods may notice construction activity and contractor vehicles while the work is underway.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important infrastructure work is completed. We will make every effort to minimize disruption to the surrounding community!

👉 See a blue “P” on the map? That means PUBLIC PARKING! 🅿️ Look for the physical 🅿️ signs around town to indicate where you can park!

And we’ve added even more spaces:

🔹 New paved parking lot on Johnston Drive
🔹 New gravel parking behind the old Town Hall (Dover St)
🔹 Plenty of parking behind current Town Hall
