Sailing into Maine! ⚓⛵

Today our commander, U.S. Air Force Gen. Randall Reed and our command senior enlisted leader, Chief Master Sgt. Brian Kruzelnick, met with cadets at the Maine Maritime Academy.

Cadets provided insight on their training and shared their calls to service.

They talked about their secret sauce of how they get things done, but we know these cadets are the secret sauce to one day protect global logistics.

🍩 Enjoy the donut—but know the standard.

The joint force is implementing the waist-to-height ratio (WHtR). All service members are required to have a WHtR < 0.55.

It’s a simple calculation:
• Waist (inches) ÷ Height (inches) = Ratio

If under 0.55, you’re good!

Example:

• Waist = 38 inches & Height = 70 inches
• 38 ÷ 70 = 0.54 ✅

Each service will provide additional guidance. Learn more:

Today, our commander, U.S. Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, visited Military Ocean Terminal Concord to see firsthand how the port keeps cargo moving where it’s needed most. As the only military port on the west coast, MOTCO’s contribution to supplying the Joint Force is invaluable.

From loading operations to coordination across the enterprise, MOTCO plays a key role in sustaining global mobility. During the visit, Gen. Reed also recognized several team members with a coin for their dedication and impact on the mission. ARTRANS
