Thank you to the Pink Hill Volunteer Fire & Rescue and their families and all who participated in the parade, be it as law enforcement, a sponsor, an entry, watching the parade, judges, auditor, emceeing the award ceremony, preparing for and cleaning up afterwards for making the 2023 Christmas Parade a success and wonderful afternoon in Pink Hill.

Congratulations to the following individuals (there were some great entries and numbers were close):

The Pink Hill 2023 Grand Marshal was Lee Ann Tyndall, riding in Donnie Bland’s White El Dorado. We know he was smiling from above!

1st place: East Duplin

Pink Hill Christmas Parade is Sunday, December 3rd at 2pm.
This is a rain or shine event.
Please bring/wear ponchos, umbrellas-those who made the entries, remind those joining you on your entry.

The parade will end with the awarding of bands, floats, and Miss Merry Christmas at the fire department. If someone from each group-band or no commercial float could be present to receive award, it would be greatly appreciated.

All Lineup Numbers of Entries to date have been sent out.
If you have entered, most received their lineup number through text.
A few who listed a landline received theirs through email.

Lineup by 1:00-1:15pm
Be careful as it gets congested during this time. You can take floats out to the site early morning or earlier than 1pm if you want to avoid a lot of the congestion around 1pm.
For safety reasons we ask you not to drop off children to cross the road at the beginning of the parade.
Follow the lineup route to drop off those riding on cars and floats and then you can continue to exit the lineup area. Let’s do our best to make it a safe parade.

To get to the Lineup:
Turn right off Highway 11 to Bill Sutton Rd, then turn
on Lynwood Ave.
Then you will turn left on Front Street. Look for flags with your lineup number.

Please be respectful of people’s yards/property in the area.

Horses will be on the grassy lot on Lynwood Avenue as soon as you turn off Bill Sutton. This area is near Santa.

Miss Merry Christmas interviews are a wrap! Six beautiful ladies vying for the title of Miss Merry Christmas 2023. Come out Sunday, December 3rd at 2 pm to cheer them on.
One of these lovely ladies will be crowned following the parade at the Pink Hill Volunteer Fire & Rescue building.

The six candidates are Sara Sofia Vera, Jasmine Raines, Maria Pintor, Adrianna Martinez, Adilee Rich, and Callie Shackelford.

They were greeted by and heard from Alima Stocks, Miss Merry Christmas 2022 on her reign, appearances, and community service project. She has collected many prom dresses during the year so when prom season approaches reach out to her should you know of young ladies in need of a prom dress. Alima was sponsored last year by Two Dogs Pizza.

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make the meet and greet and interviews special.

A Message to Pink Hill Water Customers

I want to assure all Pink Hill Water customers that all payments sent to the Town of Pink Hill through today, 11/24/23 have been deposited in the bank.

Unfortunately, because we currently have no Clerk, there has been some delay in processing payments. But this is not the customer's fault and will not impact their account status.

In a message on his "Official" personal page, Commissioner Fantini said people could cancel their checks. There is no need to do that. There are no late fees or disconnects taking place at this time. So, there is no need to incur a fee from your bank by canceling your payment. All checks will clear next week.

If you need to make a payment, we encourage you to use our online bill pay for instant processing. It is fast, convenient and free. That is available at townofpinkhill.com. If you prefer to pay by cash, check or money order, you may place that payment in the drop box to the left of the door outside town hall or mail it to the address on your bill. We are not taking payments by phone at this time.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused, but rest assured your payments have been applied to your account.

Who will Miss Merry Christmas 2022 Alima Stocks, sponsored by Two Dogs Pizza Pink Hill be crowning on Sunday, December 3rd?

Pink Hill Annual Christmas Parade : Sunday, December 3rd -
lineup is at 1pm.

Deadline to enter Miss Merry Christmas is Wednesday, November 23rd. Time is fast approaching.

Interviews are Saturday, November 25th at the Pink Hill Presbyterian. (Interviews are in the morning so everyone can enjoy as a participant or watch the Deep Run Parade@4, lineup 3pm)

Contestants are in the 9-11th grade. If a young lady needs a sponsor, we have some businesses ready to sponsor. Text or call 252-560-4073/ plus fill out form attached (in description list Miss Merry Christmas, young lady’s name and cell # and sponsor with number or say need a sponsor.)
The form gives all the details for Miss Merry Christmas and the parade.

Parade entries are due no later than November 27th so the parade route can be prepared for every participant’s vehicle.
All parade entries (even those riding horses) please fill out the online form below so the lineup process will be safe for all participants trying to get to their designated places for lining up.
