🚸 Attention Middle School Families!
Our Public Works team has completed several new safety upgrades around the campus to help improve traffic flow and keep students safe:
• No Left Turn sign added on the south side of Mann Drive at the entrance to the middle school parking lot.
• STOP legend added at the stop bar at McDonald Drive and Marlesta Drive.
• Stop Ahead sign and pavement marking installed on McDonald Drive before the curve approaching the McDonald/Marlesta intersection.
🚗 A friendly reminder to all parents and caregivers:
Please drive carefully, follow posted signs, and use safe practices during drop-off and pick-up. Your patience and attention help keep every student safe.
Thank you for doing your part! 💛

They discuss what goes on behind the scenes before an alert is sent, who has the authority to issue emergency notifications, how agencies work together during incidents, and why being prepared before an emergency happens can make all the difference." 🚉 Did you know Pinole once had a World War II-era train depot?

Built in 1945, the Santa Fe Train Depot connected Pinole to cities as far as Portland, Oregon. It served passengers on the Oakland Extension line and stood as a rare example of wartime depot design.

Though it was boarded up by the 1990s and eventually demolished in 1998, its tracks remain a reminder of Pinole’s place in California’s rail history.
