In just over a month in Alabama, the first-ever Pinson Butterbean Days festival kicks one of the most anticipated and fun events of the year in the state! Set for October 2–3, 2026, this new two-day festival will bring downtown Pinson’s Main Street to life with arts and craft vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a car show. The event carries on the spirit of the Alabama Butterbean Festival, which had been a Pinson fall tradition for 20 years before ending earlier this year.
Food will be a big part of the weekend, with plenty of chances to enjoy festival favorites while celebrating the humble butterbean. Pinson’s longtime bean celebration even made history in 2010, when it set a Guinness World Record with a massive 1,010.65-gallon pot of baked beans. Visitors can also browse a packed vendor area filled with handmade goods and local businesses. With music, food, shopping, cars, and activities spread through the heart of town, Butterbean Days is shaping up to feel like a classic small-town Alabama street festival while beginning a brand-new chapter for one of Pinson’s best-known fall traditions for families and visitors.
