PLEASE BE WEATHER AWARE TODAY! The storm shelters at 5320 Miles Spring Road and 8558 Bradford Trafford Road are open. These shelters are adjacent to Palmerdale Fire Stations 1 and 3, respectively.

They City of Pinson expresses our condolences and sympathy to the family that lost loved ones in the tragedy at the Turkey Creek Nature Preserve yesterday. We thank Palmerdale, Center Point, and Glennwood Fire districts, along with officers from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Deparment for their diligent efforts and response to the scene.

DUE TO THE CONTINUED RAIN AND CONDITIONS AT THE AMPHITHEATRE, TOMORROW NIGHT'S MOVIE WILL BE SHOWN AT THE ROCK SCHOOL CENTER AUDITORIUM! THE MOVIE WILL BEGIN AT 7:15. Doors will open at 6:30 for popcorn!

SPLASH PAD WILL OPEN TUESDAY, JUNE 2! Tuesday-Saturday hours will be 10am-6pm. Sunday hours will be Noon-6pm. The splashpad will be closed on Mondays for maintenance and cleaning. Entry will be $4. GROUPS MUST HAVE A RESERVATION! THIS INCLUDES PARTIES, DAYCARES, PRESCHOOLS, etc.

NOTICE CONCERNING SPLASHPAD: Due to the rain and thunderstorms forecast for the next several days, the Bicentennial Splashpad WILL NOT OPEN until the systems have cleared, including today, May 22 through Monday, May 25th. Naturally, the safety of our citizens is top priority. We will evaluate the weather conditions on Tuesday, May 26th, and post an update to the opening schedule.
