* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 710 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Saunemin to near Chatsworth to near Gibson
City to near Fisher to near White Heath to near Cisco, moving east
at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Watseka, Paxton, Gibson City, Gilman, Clifton, Milford, Chatsworth,
Onarga, Forrest, Sheldon, Chebanse, Cissna Park, Piper City,
Ashkum, Buckley, Cullom, Saunemin, Martinton, Stockland, Crescent
City, Danforth, Melvin, Loda, Beaverville, and Roberts.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Concern continues for our tornado risk especially in our northwestern part of the viewing area. We are at a level 8 of 10 with the tornado risk in the areas in red clipping parts of Ford, Iroquois, Livingston, McLean, Logan, Cass, and Menard counties. Time frame still 6pm-11pm.

TORNADO RISK: Now an 8/10 In NW IL, still locally a 5 for many. Significant severe weather outbreak for our region. While we aren’t in the bullseye, it still means we can have some intense storms. Last night a classic example of that.

Stay weather aware. One round already approaching NW IL now, an additional round for many of us locally this evening 5p-12a.

🚒 Research has revealed that 53% of children charge their phone or tablet either on their bed or under their pillow. This is can be extremely dangerous.

The heat generated cannot dissipate and the charger will become hotter and hotter.

The likely result is that the pillow/bed will catch fire –placing the child (as well as everyone else in the property) in great danger. 🔥
