Piper City: Gray’s will be sweeping the streets marked in red on Tuesday July 28 to prepare for tar and chipping that they are planning to do on Wednesday July 29. Please park vehicles at least 5 feet off those streets. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Village of Piper City Residents: Road work will begin Wednesday July 22, 2026. The areas will blue circled numbers will be spray patched. On Thursday and Friday the streets marked in red will be tar and chipped. When possible, please park at least 5 feet off the road to allow the crew room to work. Thanks for your patience and cooperation while the work is being performed.

We have issued a permit for Tony. He has educational books and apps as well as Biblical books, Atlases, and more.

Jeff Orr and Rhonda McCoy just gave me the permit to work in piper city, great-full to be the area and I will be showing educational books for reading confidence, study guides for the new method of math science and social studies and a set of bible story books for families that are into their faith.

The Village of Piper City has issued solicitors permits to 2 gentlemen from ION. Their purpose is to talk about the Illinois Shines program for solar energy and see if anyone is interested in finding out more about solar power. Please remember that you are never required to talk to anyone!

Golf cart permits are available at city hall. Stop in or call 815-686-4262 for an appt. Driving your golf cart without the proper permit may result in a fine/ticket. Thanks for your cooperation on this matter.
