The Pipestone Fire Department is conducting this CONTROLLED burn today, June 6th, around 0800 am. For your safety and the safety of emergency personnel, please stay clear of the area. Below you will see a map with the street closure, where during the time of the burn, will remain closed, to allow emergency personnel adequate space to safely manage this controlled burn.

Please do not enter this area or obstruct emergency vehicles/equipment. We appreciate everyone's cooperation.

• Water hoses across streets and roads

Road closure:
• 8th Ave SW will be closed from 13th St to Hwy 23 for safety (map will be posted).

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 34 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa, southwest
Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, and east central, south central,
and southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 8 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
