VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Miami County Historical & Genealogical Society (MCH&GS) needs your help, your hands and your heart for the love of all things history.

MCH&GS will be setting up a booth display at the June 20 & 21, 2026, Sat & Sun: 2026 Celtic Heritage Festival at the Johnston Farm. No experience necessary. We will have opportunities both days during the festival. Shifts as short as 2 hours. Plan to visit the farm during the festival and lend your time with us to promote the interesting history of Miami County.

MCH&GS will also be set up with a display in the Mercantile Building again this year for the 2026 Miami County Fair, August 14-20, 2026. Fairs are fun and the atmosphere brings back all the things you may remember from your childhood. Greeting people and sharing Miami County history is what we do at the fair. Please consider joining us. Select a day and time that you want to help and visit the fair during your time with us.

Please contact either Shane Conley - [email protected] or Ronny Westfall - [email protected] for specific information and to sign up for either opportunity.
