Treasurer/
Transportation Coordinator
This position includes several responsibilities. First and foremost, this employee is the secretary to the Superintendent of Schools. He/She is also the district treasurer and the coordinator of district transportation. As the only full-time employee of the school district, this person is in charge of the daily operation of the school building (which includes the Town of Arietta offices), coordinates student transportation and manages compliance with regulations pertaining to school buses, purchasing, payroll, and more. Applicants must be, or willing to be, certified as a bus driver. Applicants should be conscientious, motivated, ambitious, able to represent the district in a positive manner at all times, collegial, trustworthy, and honest. Employment is parttime (three half-days per week) during the summer months.
Starting salary: $32,000 plus benefits
