We do have a small stock of batteries that we will be able to exchange during the two listed times below. If you come during our BBQ please be patient with us if we are busy. Make sure you bring your old ones to exchange them. We also have a few extra dinners that will be sold at first come first serve.

Before the village of pitsburg trick or treat hit up the Pitsburg Church of the brethren for trunk or treat. That evening we will have fire apparatus through town passing candy out as well. Please make sure if you are driving through town that evening to be extra slow and cautious for kids and their families walking and crossing the roads.

What a day for the Franklin Monroe Elementary School , they got to see a lot of different things today for fire prevention week. We could have not pulled it off without the help of the Elementary school staff. The members of Pitsburg Fire Department would like to thank Medflight, Arcanum Rescue, SGT Jamie Joseph with Oakley along with Ben Belcher with the drone of the DCSO, Greenville City FD for the use of their inflatable house, SRO Kris Sullivan , The Tin Roof Tavern , State Route 571 Diner for providing the pizzas to all the preschool-6 grade kids for lunch. The members enjoyed all the wonderful questions and feed back from all the different age groups. Would also want to thank Task for their donation to help purchase goodie bags for each student. And. BIG thank you to everyone that has supported our BBQ's and other fundraisers so we could use those funds to purchase all the other things today to provide the kids with lunch and other items. This is one way our department is wanting to get out in our community and give something back. We THANK all of you.
