Guardian Fund is proud to support Rep. August Pfluger for re-election for Texas’ 11th Congressional District.

August is seventh generation Texas and grew up on his family’s ranches Kimble, Concho, and Edwards counties. He was an Eagle Scout and after high school, went onto the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has advanced degrees in aeronautical sciences and military strategy and is currently completing another degree in International Business and Policy. He believes that’s the perfect foundation to ensure Permian Basin oil and gas and District 11 agriculture reach their full potential.

After the Air Force Academy, August went on to serve for over two decades - commanding hundreds of combat airmen and serving in the Pentagon and NATO Command. Colonel August Pfluger has dedicated his life to defending the United States from those who would do us harm – from his days as an elite F-22 Raptor fighter pilot flying combat missions against ISIS, to his service on the National Security Council as an advisor to President Donald Trump.

After his many combat missions against ISIS and serving President Trump he knew he needed to continue to serve by standing up for the people of Texas in Washington.

In Congress, he is keeping up the fight against foreign threats like ISIS, China, and Russia, working to strengthen immigration enforcement and reduce illegal immigration, supporting the hard-working oil and gas producers that keep our Texas economy strong - fighting back against the oil-hating liberals and working to secure total energy independence for our country.

August Pfluger believes our nation is worth defending…and as our trusted U.S. Congressman, he’ll stand up to the socialists and liberal elites in Washington DC and defend our West Texas values of family, faith, and freedom.

Born and raised in Bakersfield, Vince attended public schools, graduated from West High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and master’s from Princeton University.

For nearly a decade, he has served as the district director to House Majority Leader and Congressman Kevin McCarthy, managing public policy issues for the region, working to create jobs, making common sense reforms, and fighting to improve the quality of life for our neighbors and families.

Vince has helped to lead the conversation on energy independence in California and worked to develop policies that permit business expansion and enhance job opportunities for residents. He has worked with local small business owners to create a climate for small business growth. He helped organize the Valley Fever Symposium, bringing the issue into the national spotlight and convincing leaders in healthcare to conduct research and find solutions to a growing problem.

Each day, Vince works with local leaders and organizations to put California’s job climate back on track. He has seen firsthand the burdens of bureaucracy and red tape. His efforts to lower taxes, reduce burdensome regulations and limit government overreach reminded elected leaders that free-markets and competition are the keys to a successful economy and good-paying jobs.

A dedicated neighbor and committed volunteer, Vince is a former board member for Goodwill Industries of South Central California, former elected member of the Kern County Republican Central Committee and a lifetime member of the NRA. Guardian Fund is proud to support Rep. Pat Harrigan for re-election for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District.

Pat Harrigan attended West Point and graduated with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, and was commissioned into the Infantry, after completing Ranger School, Pat deployed to Afghanistan and took over a small air-access only combat outpost in the heart of the Arghandab valley.

At 23 years old and in charge of roughly 350 Americans, Afghans, and expatriates, and responsible for nearly $100 million worth of infrastructure and equipment. Pat then volunteered and was selected for the Special Forces, After, becoming a Green Beret, Pat returned to Afghanistan and led his Special Forces unit through increasingly difficult and challenging circumstances. At this time, it became clear to Pat that the United States had lost the political will to win, and we had a true crisis of leadership brewing in our country.

While on active duty, Pat and his wife Rocky created a small fi****ms business. After Pat left the Army, they along with their partners grew it into a manufacturing powerhouse, where they manufacture American made defense products in Western North Carolina.

Serving as a bomb disposal expert under the elite Joint Special Operations Command meant that life was always dangerous and very often deadly. The very last IED Brian came upon exploded and resulted in sustained catastrophic injuries, which included the loss of both my legs.

Brian believes that the trials we each face have little importance compared to what we do in response to each challenge that we face. We as Americans do not curl up into a corner and quit when life gets tough. We own our challenges. We use those challenges as the tool to make us the strongest we have ever been.
