The Guardian Fund is a political action committee established in 2011 by former Florida Congressman and Lieutenant Colonel Allen West with a mission to support conservative veterans and minorities running for Congress. and minorities seeking elected office. In 2022, the PAC had a record-breaking year with 96 endorsements of conservative veterans and/or minority candidates. Of those, 94 made it to the November ballot and of that total 49 Incumbent Members of Congress, and 20 new Members-elect won on Election Day. Once again, Guardian endorsed the largest class of minorities and veterans in its ten-year history. Forty years ago, 70% of lawmakers in the House of Representatives and 78% of those in the Senate had served in the armed forces. The number of veterans serving on Capitol Hill has been imperceptibly declining since the early 1970s, largely a result of the World War II generation steadily leaving public office. The United States deserves to be led by individuals who not only understand our military but by those who have sworn an oath to be a part it. We at the Guardian Fund believe that veterans of the U.S. military embody a kind of dedication to this country that is second to none and possess an unmatched loyalty to preserving and protecting the United States and its conservative American values. The diversity of the American people is what gives this country its unwavering strength and makes the United States exceptional. With the demographics of the U.S. population in continual flux, it’s more critical than ever for there to be an accurate representation of the American people in government. For far too long, Republicans have been bound by a grossly inaccurate description of their party and battled against definitions of conservatism ascribed by outside groups. The Guardian Fund wants to help elect more conservative minorities to Congress so that Republicans from all walks of life are given a voice on Capitol Hill. We must ensure conservative leaders are elected who will stand as guardians of our constitutional republic, to restore our nation’s fiscal responsibility and strong national defense, limit the growth of government, unleash the free market and preserve the liberty and sovereignty of its citizens. The Guardian Fund will stand behind, and fight shoulder to shoulder next to conservative veterans and minorities who seek to secure a brighter future for the United States and its future generations.

Guardian Fund is proud to support Eric Conroy for Congress in Ohio's 1st Congressional District.

Eric Conroy was raised on the West Side of Cincinnati, in a proud, four-generation blue-collar family. From early on Eric learned what hard work means, from his parents’ grit and sacrifice teaching him perseverance and from his grandfather, a decorated World War II veteran, teaching him that service is bigger than self.

Eric attended the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado and serving as an intelligence officer overseas. His deployments included two years in Okinawa, Japan, and several years in Washington, D.C.

In the Air Force, Eric rose to the rank of Captain, leading intelligence operations for elite Special Operations forces and shaping long-term strategic planning across multiple commands.

After the Air Force, Eric joined the Central Intelligence Agency. In the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, he served as a Case Officer — the Agency’s most prestigious role — managing clandestine operations in war zones and across Europe. His multi-year postings included Afghanistan, Poland, and Iraq.

During his time overseas, Eric built critical international alliances and briefed top U.S. leaders on national security issues. For over a decade, he led high-risk operations in some of the world’s most dangerous regions—missions that didn’t make headlines, but helped keep Americans safe.

Eric’s missions have taken him far from home, but his heart never left Cincinnati. Now, he’s ready to take that mission to Congress—to fight for working families, revitalize Main Street, and help keep our communities safe. Eric will fight to ensure the American Dream remains attainable for future generations.

Guardian Fund is proud to support John Braun for Congress in Washington's 3rd Congressional District.

John earned a Naval ROTC scholarship to the University of Washington, graduating in 1989 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was commissioned as a Navy officer and entered the submarine force, beginning a 31-year military career that would span seven years of active duty and more than two decades in the Navy Reserve.

Over the course of his service, Braun held six commands in the submarine force and with U.S. Combatant Commanders, rising to the rank of Captain. His final assignment was as Director of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force Reserve Component, leading the reserve element of the entire submarine force. Along the way he earned dual master's degrees — an MBA and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering.

After graguate school, JOhn returned to the family business Broun Northwest. He worked on the factory floor and eventually became President in 2006, growing the company to 350 employees. The company builds custom emergency vehicles — ambulances, fire rescue, mobile intensive care, SWAT, hazmat, bomb disposal, and prisoner transport vehicles — serving fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies across the western United States, Hawaii, and Alaska.

Braun was first elected to the Washington State Senate in 2012. He quickly earned a reputation as a detail-oriented budget hawk. His signature achievement came in 2015 with the College Affordability Program — the first and largest cuts to public university tuition in the nation.

Guardian Fund is proud to support Eric Flores for Congress in Texas’ 34th Congressional District.

Eric Flores is a proud South Texan, former Texas Army National Guard Infantry Captain, former Assistant U.S. Attorney, husband, and father.

Eric grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. At an early age, he answered the call to serve. While attending the University of Texas at Austin, Eric enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard through the Simultaneous Membership Program. Upon graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate, he received his commission as a U.S. Army Infantry officer. Eric commanded soldiers with distinction during Operation Guardian Support along our southern border.

While serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Eric led landmark prosecutions of cartel-connected and human trafficking operations, dismantled the district’s largest transnational human-smuggling ring, and secured the conviction of one of Texas’s “Top Ten” most-wanted fugitives, accomplishments recognized with two U.S. Attorney’s Awards.

Eric is currently a partner at O’Hanlon, Demerath & Castillo, a statewide firm, where he leads the litigation department defending municipalities and school districts across Texas.

Eric will bring the same tenacity he displayed in uniform and the courtroom to his campaign for Congress: bolstering border security, championing law enforcement and veteran issues, revitalizing our local economy, and safeguarding seniors’ benefits.

REPUBLICANS WIN IN CONGRESSIONAL BASEBALL GAME!

The GOP defeated Democrats 11-2 in the annual Congressional Baseball Game, marking the 6th year in a row the Republicans have won on the diamond! ⚾️

Several Guardian Fund members participate on the team. Here are just a few: Chariman Jack Bergman, MI-1; August Pfleuger, TX-11: Morgan Lutrell, TX-8; Greg Steube, FL-17; Marriannette Miller-Meeks, IA-1; Kat Cammack, FL-3 and many more!

The game raised a record $3.2 million for local charities and sold a record 32,000 tickets, according to event organizers. The money benefits several local charities, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.
