Voter Education Training - Get ready to help voters understand and participate successfully in the election process! This ninety-minute training will cover the Voter Registration form, Photo ID and Exceptions, Ways to vote, Provisional ballots, and the two-year Election Cycle.

This is a great way to prepare for volunteering in the CCDP Community Engagement Center, educating voters at CCDP events around the county, and sharing election information with friends and family.

Get to Know Our Candidates: Katie Kenlan
First elected in 2022, Kenlan has worked to reduce the county’s effective tax rate, maintain Chatham’s strong fiscal standing, support farmland preservation, provide greater financial incentives for Chatham County teachers, and strengthen environmental standards in land-use planning.

She says her priorities remain those she has pursued since her election: thoughtfully managing Chatham’s rapid growth, ensuring safe drinking water, protecting natural resources, addressing affordable housing challenges, and confronting the impacts of climate change on our county.

Kenlan is a Chatham County native who has been endorsed by the Sierra Club.
