Chatham County Race Amity Day is Saturday, June 13!

Join friends and neighbors to celebrate unity, diversity, and fellowship with the theme “We Walk This Path Together.”

The day starts at 9:30 AM with a Mindful Unity Walk from Pittsboro’s Pop-Up Park to George Moses Horton Middle School, accompanied by live Peruvian music. Free t-shirts for the first 100 walkers. Prefer not to walk? Come straight to the festivities at the school starting at 10 AM.

Enjoy family activities, music, food trucks, and free ice cream from City Circle Ice Cream. The celebration continues from 1 to 3:30 PM with a Race Amity Day proclamation, inspiring remarks from civic leaders, music, and a dramatic performance reflecting the spirit of unity.

All events are free and open to everyone. Hosted by Partners in Racial Justice. Learn more: partnersinracialjustice.org/race-amity-day/
