📣 📣 BIG NEWS! Los Medanos College opens 2026 grant opportunity for East County nonprofits. This capacity-building initiative with Antioch Chamber of Commerce will award at least 12 sub-grants from $10,000 to $20,000.

Funding supports local nonprofits improve sustainability, leadership, infrastructure and paid internships that build the workforce pipeline.

👏 👏 👏 Congratulations to Shwe Yee Thinn for her outstanding achievement and journey to Los Medanos College and beyond. Nice coverage in East Bay Times!

A military coup in her native Myanmar and the COVID-19 pandemic derailed her plans but didn’t stop her. Now she’ll transfer to UC Davis this fall.
