We are disappointed to announce that the Go Blue SEK Kick-Off Event scheduled for this Saturday, April 4, at Lincoln Park is cancelled.

While the rain may clear up by Saturday, the heavy rainfall we have already received has left the grounds at Lincoln Park extremely saturated. To prevent significant damage to the park and to ensure the safety of our guests and equipment, we have made the difficult decision to call off the event.

The mission hasn’t changed! April is still Child Abuse Prevention Month. We encourage you to show your support by wearing blue all month long and following our page for more ways to get involved in supporting the children of Southeast Kansas.

💙 Support Local, Support Kids: Our April Calendar is Here!
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and again this year, we are teaming up with the heart of our community—our local businesses! We’ve partnered with some incredible businesses across the region for Go Blue SEK.

📅 How to Join the Movement:
Visit local businesses: Check the calendar to see which local favorites are going blue!

Wear Blue Fridays: Every Friday in April is a Go Blue Friday! We encourage everyone in SEK to wear their favorite blue outfit to honor the children we serve. Snap a selfie and tag us!

Spread the Word: Use the hashtag to show our community that we stand united against child abuse.

A huge thank you to the local business owners who have stepped up to stand with us. Let’s show them some love while we work together to keep our kids safe, heard, and supported!
