🀝 Connecting with Residents in Rodeo & Crockett 🀝

I had the opportunity to meet with residents during my monthly Office Hours in Rodeo and Crockett. These conversations are an important way for me to hear directly from community members, answer questions, share information about County services, and discuss the issues that matter most to our neighborhoods.

We talked about a variety of topics, including community improvements, local events, County resources, and other concerns impacting residents throughout West County. I always appreciate the opportunity to listen, learn, and work together to address community needs.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share their thoughts, ideas, and feedback. Your voices help shape the work we do and strengthen our communities.

I look forward to continuing these conversations at future Office Hours and hope to see you there!

🌈 Celebrating Pride Month in Contra Costa County

June is Pride Monthβ€”a time to celebrate the diversity, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community and to reaffirm our commitment to creating communities where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.

Pride Month is also an opportunity to recognize the many individuals, families, advocates, and allies who continue to advance equality, foster understanding, and strengthen our communities through their leadership and service.

Contra Costa County is strongest when every person has the opportunity to live authentically, feel a sense of belonging, and be treated with dignity and respect.

As we celebrate Pride Month, I join communities across our county in honoring the rich diversity that makes Contra Costa a vibrant and inclusive place to live, work, and thrive.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Honoring Those Who Gave All

I was honored to join veterans, military families, and community members at the Contra Costa County Soldiers Memorial Monument in Pleasant Hill for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Together, we remembered the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation and reflected on the freedoms their courage helped preserve.

Thank you to the Veterans Remembrance Committee, veterans organizations, and all who helped make this meaningful tribute possible.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
