Go to the park and learn how to Save A Life! We are offering Hands-Free CPR training in 9 different Shaler Township parks over 2 days, August 8th and August 22nd.

Although the sessions are one hour each - believe it or not, it won't take nearly that long to learn Hands-Only CPR.

We'll also be introducing the AED's that are available in 10 Shaler Parks, along with Stop the Bleed kits and Narcan.

No experience is necessary—just stop by and learn!

Information presented regarding previous post

Last evening, we presented to the Township of Reserve, PA Board of Commissioners on the current state of fire protection in our community and formally requested consideration of a 1.0 mill Dedicated Fire Protection Tax.

This request was not made lightly. For years, our members have relied on fundraising, grants, and thousands of volunteer hours to sustain operations. While those efforts have served our community well, they are no longer enough to meet the growing demands of today’s volunteer fire service.

The proposed funding would provide a stable source of revenue, reduce our dependence on fundraising, and help ensure Reserve Township continues to receive the reliable fire protection our residents deserve.

We appreciate the Township Manager and Board of Commissioners for their time, thoughtful questions, and willingness to listen as we work together to secure the future of fire protection in Reserve Township.

All cars must be out by 5:00pm if not staying for the fireworks.
