Southwestern Veterans' Center hosted the annual Safety Fair for employees Aug. 12. The event included 28 vendors and community partners, as well as covered a wide array of topics, including emergency management, employee safety, mental health, along with many other resources.

Institutional Fire and Safety Specialist Michael Kazmarski, was recognized with a Community Service Award from the Allegheny County Sheriffs’ Department.

American Legion Post 980 in Plum Borough was honored to welcome residents from the Southwestern Veterans’ Center for a special luncheon and bingo event.

They rolled out the red carpet for our veterans, serving a delicious meal and providing an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and friendly competition. It was a wonderful opportunity to share stories and create memories.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. We look forward to any special gatherings in the future!
