We’re excited to welcome Austin County and Randall County to the PaymentExpress community!

Both Texas counties are now live with Grant Street Group’s PaymentExpress for in-person motor vehicle payments. Residents can use tap-to-pay and digital wallets at the counter, while county staff benefit from a smoother workflow designed to make transactions faster and easier.

The launch also includes tools that help county teams manage payment operations, including a streamlined workflow that reduces unnecessary switching between screens and e-check validation to help prevent avoidable payment issues.

Cydney Norton, Chief Deputy of the Randall County Tax Office, shared that the onboarding process was “so easy and user-friendly” and that she is glad to use PaymentExpress for Randall County’s citizens.

Gwinnett Tax Commissioner’s Office is making motor vehicle payments more convenient across all six offices.

With 79 PaymentExpress terminals now in service, residents can tap to pay and receive electronic receipts, while county staff benefit from faster processing, simpler reconciliation, and connected reporting. On launch day, staff processed more than 760 transactions totaling over $117,000, and customers have quickly embraced tap-to-pay.

PExFest 2026 brought our PaymentExpress team together in Pittsburgh for two focused days of collaboration and innovation.
