As a collaboration between the Jewish Community Center, the Jewish Association on Aging and Jewish Family and Children's Service, AgeWell Pittsburgh reaches thousands of seniors. With a myriad of programs to offer, AgeWell Pittsburgh has evidence showing that their services keep seniors healthy and more active while remaining in their communities.

The application window is now open for the 2026 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). This program helps income-eligible older adults to supplement their diets with locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables by providing $25 in vouchers for use at area farmers markets. For the 2026 season, we will be adding an online application option (in addition to mail), with vouchers mailed directly to eligible older adults.
How to Access Applications

Seniors can apply online or download the application at: bit.ly/SeniorFarmersMarketProgram or text “FARMER” to 987987 to learn more. The application is available on the Allegheny County website, at local senior centers, the SeniorLine, or at their local legislator’s office.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a resident of Allegheny County
60 years of age or older (by December 31, 2026)
Meet the income guidelines (self-reported):
One person household: At or below $ 29,526
Two-person household: At or below $ 40,034
Married couples may receive one set of vouchers for each individual
