We’re excited to share that the Dormont Community Garden has been recognized as a Bird-Friendly Habitat by the Pennsylvania Audubon Council! 🐦🌿

This recognition celebrates the work happening in our garden to create a welcoming space not just for people, but for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. From native plants and flowers to trees and shrubs, every little piece helps create better habitat right here in our community.

A special thank you to Dormont Arts for managing and caring for the garden, and to Dormont Bird Town for helping get the garden started on the path to becoming a bird-friendly habitat.

We’re also grateful to Wild Birds Unlimited for their generous donation of a bird feeder and bird seed, helping make our garden an even more welcoming stop for our feathered friends. 🐦
