Pittsburgh, we’re here to make testing easy. Allies community health advocates are available in areas around the city to offer free STI testing for HIV, hep C, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. Plus, our health advocates are always willing to answer any questions you might have about your sexual health.

At Allies for Health + Wellbeing, you’ll work with our providers to determine the best PrEP for you, whether it’s a daily pill, injections every two months or injections twice a year. 💊 We’ll also handle your testing, and you can pick up your prescriptions across the lobby at Allies Pharmacy!

Earlier this week, we attended the 2026 National Liver Gathering/MASH Across America! We gathered alongside public health leaders, healthcare professionals, fellow community partners, and many others, all around the importance of liver health, in Pittsburgh and beyond.

Here’s your friendly reminder that we test for hepatitis C, a blood-borne infection that can cause severe liver damage, at all of our free STI testing events.

Quick facts about hep C:
🔴 Most people infected with it don’t know they’re infected
🔴 If left untreated, it can cause long-term liver damage, liver cancer, or even liver failure
🔴 Hep C is an infectious disease that’s ultimately CURABLE

Presented by Allies, AIDS Free Pittsburgh and Love in Action Through Faith Initiative, EmpowHer is facilitated by Carolyn Fletcher, LAPC, Allies therapist, and Wren Bowerman, Allies case manager.

LGBTQIA+ History Month reminds us to reflect on our own history as an organization. 🏳️‍🌈 From our beginnings in the 1980s to today, our values haven’t changed. Allies has worked alongside our local LGBTQIA+ community and community partners for decades to make Pittsburgh a healthier, more welcoming place for everyone.

There’s still work to do, and we’re proud to keep providing care, building connections, and supporting the health and wellbeing of our community. ❤️
