Cybersecurity professionals and law enforcement are reminding families to pause before sharing photos of children holding "first day of school" chalkboard signs. While these signs are a fun tradition, including specific details, like a child's school name, teacher, favorite hobbies, or age, can unintentionally share sensitive personal information online.

Instead of including detailed answers on chalkboard signs, consider sticking to just their name and grade level. Ensuring your privacy settings are up to date is another great way to keep these precious moments shared only with trusted family and friends.
