It is with great sadness that we honor the passing of Andy Kaza. In 2023, the Kaza Fire Equipment company became part of the All American Fire Equipment family, and Andyβs kindness and creativity as a leader has left his fingerprints on our organization to this day. Andy was a trailblazer who remains uniquely responsible for building a great team and a foundation that continues as the heart of our Pennsylvania operations. We are grateful for his trust to carry on what he had poured so much dedication into over the years. The following words from Kaza Fireβs archived website are a brief bio which reflect a small sample of the impact he had on the industry. Please take a moment to remember Andy and his memory with a story from his Fire Company days at Dauntless Fire Company where he joined in 1960, or from his time serving fire fighters and fire departments as the Owner of Kaza Fire Equipment.
In 1972, as owner and founder, Andy Kaza started selling fire equipment on a part time basis. As he traveled the area, his sales started to increase tremendously. He could see that there was a real need in the area for a full service fire equipment company that would not only provide sales but would also provide service. In 1983 Kaza Fire Equipment opened a sales and equipment service center in Ebensburg, Pa. As business increased over the years so did apparatus sales. In 1993 to better serve the customers a new service center was built. To better serve our growing company and our customer's needs. This eliminated the need to contract out much of the warranty work on new apparatus and gave the ability to offer complete apparatus service to all of our customer's fleets. The building of the service center showed our commitment to our valued customers. We are a sales and service center.
