Tonight for training, members spent the night working on truck set ups and bucket operations. It was a good night for upcoming operators to get some bucket operation practice in different scenarios. It also was a good night for some drivers training. Crews also worked on some ground ladder skills with some of our newer firefighters. Nice job all! Keep up the good work!

INCIDENT - 8/30/26 - MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT - MARZOLF RD/LITTLE PINE CREEK RD - SHALER TOWNSHIP

Just before 3:00 AM, 264 Engine was dispatched for a single vehicle accident in the area of Marzolf Rd and Little Pine Creek Rd. 264 Engine arrived to find a single vehicle into the guardrail. The engine remained on scene to assist the tow company removing the vehicle and moving the piece of gaurdrail. Once the vehicle was removed, all units cleared and the road was reopened.

Thank you to our members for spending their day putting the new supply line on 264 Engine! Our old supply line was over 20 years old and in need of replacement. This new hose from Snap Tite will serve us well into the future! This along with a new pony section, and bumper line hose, now completes the final hose replacement on the engine. The engine is now all equipped with all new Snap Tite hose to better serve the community. Thank you everyone!
