We want to thank Mayor Parker and her administration for making an initial commitment to saving our homes. We are glad to hear the recommendation that the city commit $36 million to start this process. We know there is still a long way to go before our homes are safe and we urge the city to act quickly before it is too late. We look forward to working with Mayor Parker and others and we will continue organizing until all 925 units are protected and no one is displaced. - One PA Neighborhood Restorations Tenant Committee

On June 30, we held a rally to save Neighborhood Restorations Homes. This rally was held at the site of the former UC Townhomes, to show what can happen if the city fails to act. 71 families were displaced there in 2023. The deadline when these 925 homes can be sold is now here. We know the city has the money to save these homes and we call on them to act now before its too late.

Today One PA West Southwest Rising joined the Workers Over Billionaires Week of Action. Neighborhood Restorations tenants held a rally in front of the former UC Townhomes just as the date for a possible sale of their homes arrives. Two weeks ago, 200+ West and Southwest Philly residents stood together to protect 900+ affordable housing units. With federal tax credits expiring and a sale looming, the homes of 3,000 neighbors are at risk.

One PA West Southwest Rising is calling on the Parker administration to take action:

- Purchase all 925 units to keep them permanently affordable.
- Allow interested tenants to purchase their homes below market price.
- Ensure high-quality affordable providers manage any remaining rentals.
