🍂 Just a Beautiful Fall Day at Whitetail Springs! 🍁

Sometimes the most beautiful part of the day is simply being able to enjoy it.

A walk through our courtyard, the sound of the fountain, a gentle fall breeze, the leaves changing colors, or just sitting outside admiring that beautiful blue sky.

For our residents living with dementia, having the freedom to enjoy the outdoors, take a walk, or simply sit and enjoy the beauty around them means so much.

No special occasion, no big event. Just an ordinary fall day at Whitetail Springs, where even the simplest pleasures of life are something beautiful. ❤️🍂

🎉🎂 October Birthday Bash at Whitetail Springs! 🎈

Today we celebrated our wonderful residents with October birthdays, but we had one extra birthday girl joining the fun! 💕

Our very own Activities Team member, Abby, turned the big 21! 🥳 How special that she got to share her birthday celebration with our residents! There were smiles, laughter, birthday cake, and plenty of birthday wishes to go around!

A special thank you to Commonwealth Hospice for joining our Life Enrichment Department and helping make our October Birthday Bash such a lovely celebration! ❤️

Happy Birthday to all our October birthday stars, and a special Happy 21st to Abby! We loved celebrating together! 🎂💕

There is a quiet kind of gratitude that grows in memory care. It shows up in the small moments: a hand squeezed back, a familiar laugh, a favorite song that brings a smile. When so much feels uncertain, these moments become treasures worth noticing. 🌾

For families, gratitude does not mean pretending things are easy. It can sit alongside grief, worry, and tiredness. Sometimes it simply means pausing to recognize a good visit, a peaceful afternoon, or a caregiver who knew exactly what your loved one needed.

This season, we are especially thankful for the families who trust us, the residents who teach us so much, and the care teams who show up with kindness every single day. Thank you for being part of this community. 🙏

⛵🎨 Celebrating Columbus Day at Whitetail Springs!

As part of our Life Enrichment program, we incorporated a little history into our Painting with a Twist activity on Columbus Day as our residents painted the ships of Christopher Columbus.

Reminiscing about the history of Columbus Day and bringing those familiar memories to life on a canvas means so much more in memory care. It’s not just about the painting, but what they remember along the way. ❤️

A big thank you to Commonwealth for teaming up with our Life Enrichment Department to host a fun-filled Steelers tailgate with delicious food, drinks, and lots of smiles!

A special thank you to Brendan from Commonwealth Hospice for helping make our day so special!

🍽️ Chef Yianni is at it again! 👨‍🍳⭐

Who needs a four-star restaurant when you have Chef Yianni right here at Whitetail Springs?!

Delicious lunch featured crab-stuffed flounder, grilled asparagus, and rosemary-roasted potatoes, finished with a savory herb beurre blanc sauce!

This sweet, slightly shy gentleman has such a big heart, and this picture says it all! Seeing him enjoying himself and having such a wonderful time truly made our day!
