Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship Soaring to Success by developing strong Characters, Academics, Relationships, and Entrepreneurs!

The Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship provides a hands-on, engaging program designed to bring entrepreneurial and economic concepts alive for students. The lessons related to the core elementary school curriculum of science, math, social studies, and language arts incorporates foundational economic and entrepreneurial concepts. Young entrepreneurs produce goods and services, elected officials establish laws, Crime Stoppers keep the peace, judges arbitrate disputes, and reporters track down stories. All citizens earn wages in the school’s “inventive” currency, invest in product ideas, deposit and borrow money from “inventive” banks, and pay taxes, tuition and rent.

Built for Brilliance was more than a theme; we saw it in action last night. 💙💛 Thank you to every PHCSE family who joined us for Title I Night!

Our families spent the evening learning, connecting, and exploring activities across ELA, , Health, and more, while strengthening the home-school partnership.

What makes nights like this special is seeing our scholars surrounded by people invested in their growth, confidence, and success.

Learning is in full swing at PHCSE! Our scholars have been sharpening their golf skills in Physical Education, practicing their stance, stroke, focus, and follow-through.

But golf teaches more than technique. It also builds skills that translate far beyond the course: patience, strategy, , discipline, and the ability to adjust when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Sound familiar? Those are the same habits strong and leaders use every day. At PHCSE, even a PE lesson can become another opportunity for our scholars to keep developing the mindset to lead.

Next week, during MicroSociety Election Week, our students will take learning beyond the classroom by campaigning, giving speeches, voting, and experiencing firsthand what it means to participate in a democracy.

Students will elect their own Mayors, Senators, Speaker of the House, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President, followed by a Swearing-In Ceremony on October 21.

At PHCSE, is about more than starting a business. It’s about developing the confidence to lead, communicate ideas, make decisions, and understand how communities work. MicroSociety gives our students the chance to practice those skills in a real, meaningful way.
