American Girl® Bingo Post: In 1764, families like Kaya's might have been urged to ally with the French and fight against the English in frontier settlements and forts like Fort Pitt. A few years later, families like Felicity's were still clustered around Fort Pitt for protection by the soldiers who were stationed there.

Each month, the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) will share recommended titles from familiar faces across Allegheny County. 📚✨

June’s picks come from children's author Caroline Carlson. She writes magical tales for children and tweens, including The Door at the End of the World and The Tinkerers. 🧙‍♂️ACLA has hosted Caroline twice as a keynote author for the Children's Choice Awards. In addition, her books have also been featured for Books & Beyond on Pittsburgh Today Live. This month's book of the month is her latest adventure for middle grade readers, The Tinkerers, a fantasy that follows Peter's journey as he tries to fix mistakes by nudging time. 🕰️🌠
