While Jared is serving on the field in Vietnam, Isaac and Abigail are representing Frontier Harvest Ministries here in the United States at the Mid-Atlantic missions summit in Delaware.

We’re grateful to United for the Nations for inviting us to this special gathering. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow missionaries and ministry leaders, share stories and experiences, and build meaningful relationships around our shared passion for reaching the nations.

The Great Commission is a call to action for all of us. Whether we go, pray, send, or encourage, everyone has a part to play in taking the Gospel to the nations. 🌎🙏

Could You Live on $200–$300 a Month?

What does a monthly income actually look like for families living in Vietnam—especially in rural communities?

In this short video, I share some of that reality and explain one practical way we’re working to help: small poultry business startups operated right from a family’s home. 🐓

Our goal isn’t simply to give temporary assistance. We want to help families develop something they can steward, grow, and multiply, with the potential to add roughly $100–$200 per month to their household income.

We’ve currently identified and invested into 3 family, and we’re looking and praying for 5 more.

Please pray that God leads us to the right families—people who are serious about the opportunity, will steward what they’re given well, and have a desire to see it grow into something sustainable.

Vietnam: A Nation Still Waiting

Vietnam is home to 115 people groups, yet 87 of them are still unreached with the Gospel. Of those, 19 are considered Frontier People Groups—communities with little to no known access to the message of Jesus.

With a population of over 100 million people, nearly 10 million belong to unreached people groups. While the southern part of the country has seen greater Gospel influence, much of the north and central regions remain spiritually underserved.

As we prepare to return, would you pray with us—for open doors, divine appointments, and for the Gospel to reach every tribe, language, and people in Vietnam.

The trip is almost here—we leave next week! ✈️

A huge thank you to everyone who has prayed, encouraged us, and given toward this journey. Every gift has been adding fuel to the fire as we prepare to travel across the world to encourage believers, strengthen partnerships, and continue reaching unreached people groups.

So far, we’ve raised $2,460 toward our $4,000 goal, leaving $1,540 still needed.

🐔 Sustainable Poultry Micro-Business Project

When we first met Brother Andrews family, they were raising just 10–20 chickens in small, makeshift cages built from whatever materials they had available. They had the determination to grow—they simply needed the opportunity.

Because of a grant we received from the Jose Garcia Foundation, a $1,000 was invested to help them build a permanent chicken coop, purchase an incubator, and expand their poultry operation.

Today, their flock has grown to nearly 200 chickens, providing both food for their family and a growing source of sustainable income.

Current Highlights

• 🐓 Nearly 200 chickens
• 💲 Chickens sell for approximately $10 each
• 🥚 10–15 eggs per day during laying season
• 🍽️ Provides both family food and supplemental income

Impact in Context

* 🇻🇳 Average monthly income in rural Vietnam: ~USD $300 (average rural employee income is about 7.9 million VND/month).
* 💵 First poultry sales: USD $150
* 📈 Equivalent to about one-half of a rural worker’s average monthly income.

This month we will be returning to Vietnam to evaluate the progress of all three pilot families and prayerfully identify 2–3 additional families to receive support before the end of the year.

This family now has a safe place to call home after fleeing persecution, and young believers like Philip and Andrew are being discipled each week to become future leaders among their own people.

🇻🇳 Vietnam is just around the corner!

In just a few weeks, Frontier Harvest Ministries President Jared Lenhart and his son, Elijah, will be traveling to Vietnam to reconnect with longtime friends, build new relationships, encourage believers, and follow up on ministry projects that have been developing over the past year, including the chicken coop initiative.

Thanks to your generosity, $2,025 has already been raised toward the $4,000 goal. We praise God for everyone who has already partnered with this mission!

We are now trusting the Lord to provide the remaining $1,975, which will help cover transportation, lodging, travel throughout Vietnam, and gifts and love offerings for local believers and families.
