Observatory Hill Inc. Observatory Hill Inc. (OHI) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is focused on the North Side Pittsburgh neighborhood of Observatory Hill.

OHI is a community development organization run entirely by volunteers. We are home to the Allegheny Observatory in the city's beautiful Riverview Park. We hold our annual House Tour showcasing unique homes in our neighborhood. We foster good community relationships though spaghetti dinners, block-watches, and community clean-ups. We promote our community and our business district. We act as a voi

ce for our community both on the north side and in the city. We currently have three revitalization projects up and running which has injected several million dollars into both our business corridor and nearby Bonvue Street.

The 2026 Observatory Hill House Tour — The Ins and Outs of Observatory Hill — is August 1st, 12 to 5 PM. Tour some of the most remarkable historic homes in Pittsburgh, sample local brews at select stops, and see what makes this neighborhood unlike anywhere else.

Every home has a story, and every homeowner helps shape the story of our neighborhood.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Observatory Hill neighbors Jeremy and Josh, whose beautiful home and backyard transformation were recently featured. Their investment in their home reflects something we see throughout Observatory Hill. Neighbors who care deeply about preserving our historic character while creating vibrant, welcoming spaces for today.

Jeremy and Josh don’t just invest in their home- they also invest in our community. As members of the Observatory Hill Inc. Board of Directors, they generously volunteer their time and leadership to help strengthen the neighborhood we all call home.

Their feature is a wonderful reminder that Observatory Hill is filled with people who believe in this community and are helping it thrive, one home and one project at a time.
