At 3:30 am, the Company was alerted, along with 180 and 295, for an attic fire. While units were responding, an update was provided from Baldwin Emergency Medical Service that fire was through the roof. 232 Assistant 1 requested the second alarm at that time, bringing Stations 106, 116, 171, 270 and 301.

Assistant 1 arrived, established command, and confirmed fire through the roof and heavy smoke from the roof and eaves.

232 Engine arrived with 4 personnel, placed a handline in service, and began an aggressive attack with assistance from 180 Engine 1. The fire was reported to be knocked down within 10 minutes on scene.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshall.

The Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company is selling challenge coins commemorating our 1975 Mack CF - "25 Engine". All proceeds from the sale will assist with repair work being performed on the Engine.

At 11:20 am, the company was alerted on the mutual aid assignment into West Mifflin for the reported house of fire.

232 Engine responded with 3 personnel and was the first arriving engine simultaneously with 296 Truck. The engine company operated in a suppression capacity for the duration of the incident.

At 12:04 pm, we were alerted mutual aid to Jefferson Hills Fire-Rescue for an industrial hopper fire.

The truck and engine responded with the truck ultimately being most utilized. Crews worked to set up a tanker shuttle and dump site to supply water to multiple elevated master streams.

At 8:37 pm, the first alarm was struck for Whitehall Borough.

232 Truck was assigned first due truck and assisted with searching the residence.

We were also alerted into Homestead Borough at 12:08 am where crews operated with multiple involved structures.

At last evenings Borough of Jefferson Hills Agenda Meeting, Assistant Chief Persichetti was recognized by Mayor McCaffery for his efforts at the house fire on April 22nd in Jefferson Hills by ensuring safe evacuation of the residents still inside.
