Young Americans for Liberty at Carnegie Mellon University YAL is an active political organization whose purpose is to discuss and debate a wide range of issues concerning personal and economic freedoms.

Young Americans for Liberty aims to propagate and defend our constitutional and civil liberties. Specifically, we believe that respect for the individual’s property is fundamental to a peaceful society; that violent action is only warranted in defense of one’s property; that the individual owns his/her body and is therefore responsible for his/her actions; and that society is a responsibility of t

he people, not the government. Feel free to come to a meeting to check it out, we welcome people of all political affiliations!
