We are the City of Pittsburgh Department of Parks & Recreation, more commonly and affectionately known as CitiParks. CitiParks will be sharing updates and information on our 165 parks, 23 Recreation and Senior Centers, 18 Outdoor Pools, Seasonal Indoor Pool, 8 Spray Parks, Schenley Ice Rink, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis offerings, Programs and much more! Whether appreciating open space, participating in a sporting event, taking a dip in one of the 18 swimming pools, biking a trail or enjoying a family picnic, there is always something to do and a multitude of individuals engaged. After years of work, CitiParks has officially completed upgrades to all of our Rec Center fitness rooms. The final two centers — Magee & West Penn — got their fresh new fitness spaces last week & are now ready for you to get moving, break a sweat & crush those workout goals! 🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♂️

While 6–12 students had the day off for parent/teacher conferences, many headed to our rec centers to hang out with friends, have some fun & make the most of their day off!

You're officially invited to join the holiday fun of the 24th Annual City of Pittsburgh Gingerbread House Display & Competition presented by Clearview Federal Credit Union!

Registration is now open through November 8 to be a part of this magical tradition- a chance for area residents of all ages to show off their artistry, creativity, and baking skills. There are nearly 20 categories to enter, with recognition given to the top three in each, as well as a chance at three additional overall awards!
