North Hills Middle School

It all starts with HELLO! 👋 Last month, North Hills Middle School celebrated Start With Hello Week with activities focused on kindness, inclusion and making sure every student feels like they belong!

During lunches, students wrote down ideas for helping others feel included at school. Their responses were then linked together to create one BIG paper chain, now proudly displayed in the main lobby! Students also participated in a Start With Hello Bingo Challenge, encouraging them to connect with new classmates and spread kindness throughout the school!

Small gestures can make a BIG difference! Way to spread kindness and connection, NHMS! 🫶

Last month, North Hills Middle School GATE students took their learning on the road to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for the Eco Challenge! 🌿🧪🌱 Students put their science, observation and problem-solving skills to work through hands-on activities exploring animal adaptations, plants, fruits and vegetables — plus a scavenger hunt through Phipps! The event also kicked off the 2026 Fairchild Challenge, which will have students exploring the impacts of fast fashion on environmental and human health.

Great job representing North Hills! ❤️🤍
