Congratulations to Jr. Firefighter Nickolas Hammel on successfully completing his Module 4 Interior Firefighter training!

Nick continues to demonstrate outstanding dedication to both the fire service and his education. Tonight, he completed his FF1 written exam, and next week he will graduate from Pittsburgh Public CAPA High School as part of the Class of 2026.

We are incredibly proud of all that Nick has accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds for him. Please join us in congratulating him on these major milestones!

Last night at our monthly company meeting, 6 members of Seville Volunteer Fire Company were recognized by the American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania for their participation in the Sound the Alarm smoke detector installation program.

Chief Jon Atkinson, Assistant Chief Scott Studebaker, Lieutenant Chris Schell, and Firefighters Joe Petrunio, Thomas Nylec, and David Cumpston were all recognized for their efforts helping keep our community safe through smoke alarm education and installations.

Through this program, our members have assisted residents by installing free smoke detectors, checking existing alarms, and educating families on fire safety and escape planning.

We are proud of the dedication these members continue to show both on and off emergency scenes.
