Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library and Playspace A volunteer-run cooperative playspace and toy library, promoting early childhood development through creative play and family enrichment.

Check out our toy catalog at https://pghtoys.rmwebopac.com/ We currently have public drop-in play sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Members have access to our toy library and additional members-only play sessions.

Yay! Licensed Child Therapist Christen is back at PTLL this fall to continue the Emotions in Motion Series! Please join us Sat 9/12 at 10am for her story and craft time aimed at back to school readiness!

As always with events during public play sessions, this is free to members, and $7 per child over the age of 1 for non-members. Event is aimed at ages 3-6, but open to any kids interested!

Call for story readers at the Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library: We want you!

Are you a… truck driver? Dog trainer? Babysitter/nanny? Sanitation worker? Doctor/nurse? Radiologist? Cook/chef? The list goes on…

We seek all kinds of people who work in all kinds of jobs to come and read a children’s story that is related to the work you do! We can find the related book for you, or if you have one in mind, even better!

This would NOT be a paid activity, but it’s just a one time story reading that can really spark kids’ interests for their future and let them know more about…what adults do all day! Daytime, evening, weekend options available!
