It’s a Woodland Hills Game Day!

Mother Nature can’t keep these Wolverines down, so come join us this evening at the Wolvarena as we host Central Catholic.

Adult tickets are available at https://www.whsdathletics.org/woodland-hills-ticketing/

High school students may purchase a student ticket at the gate as long as they show their student ID.

Elementary and middle school students will need to buy a regular ticket with their parent or guardian. Remember — any student in grades K-8 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

A reminder to all fans that there is no entry or reentry after halftime, and our clear bag policy is in place. Fans must be seated or headed to their or seat at all times. You are not permitted to stand along the fence at the end zone near the concession stands.

Good morning, Wolverine Families.

Due to power outages throughout the district, the Woodland Hills School District will be operating on an asynchronous remote learning day for Grades 6 to 12 and canceling school completely for all elementary buildings on Friday, September 4.

For students attending Dickson and the High School, learning activities will occur asynchronously and student work will be posted online in Google Classroom within one hour of the normal school start time.

Friday’s afternoon activities will proceed as scheduled. Please look for messages from your coach or the district on each activity.

Friday’s football game against Central Catholic is currently on as scheduled. The district will provide additional updates if warranted.

Welcome back, Woodland Hills!

Mother Nature tried to make us all grumpy, but not even the rain could wipe the smiles off of our faces as we welcomed our students back into our schools on Thursday.

There were hugs, fist bumps, some laughs, and lots of excitement for the start of a brand new school year.

From our youngest learners in our three elementary schools to the Woodland Hills Class of 2027, we are eager to see how our students learn, progress, and continue to develop into outstanding individuals.

The first day is in the books. It's a great day to be a Wolverine!

Athletic director Ty Brown has long believed Woodland Hills has the best athletic department in the country. He's shared that sentiment at awards ceremonies, in meetings with students, and in conversations with parents.

Now he has additional support to back that claim.

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association has selected the Woodland Hills athletic department as 2026 NIAAA Quality Program Assessment recipient. The NIAAA conducts a rigorous process to identify, recognize, and commend school athletic programs that demonstrate excellence in the implementation and administration of high school athletics.

The NIAAA will formally recognize Mr. Brown and the athletic department during a special ceremony on Monday, December 14 during the school day. According to a list of past QPA recipients on the NIAAA website, Woodland Hills is the first WPIAL school to receive the prestigious honor.
