Pittsfield Charter Township

Pittsfield Charter Township Organized in 1834, Pittsfield Charter Township is bordered by the cities of Ann Arbor, Saline, and Ypsilanti in Washtenaw County.

The Township is committed to building a community that supports healthy lifestyles and encourages social interaction.

Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) is currently responding to an active water main break impacting the Township District 1 pressure zone. This issue is affecting customers in all areas from State Road east to Golfside Road.
At this time, system pressure remains above 35 psi; however, residents and businesses may experience reduced water flow or difficulty with toilet flushing. YCUA crews have located the break and are working to isolate and repair it.

Water pressure is expected to return to normal within the next few hours. YCUA will provide updates as repairs progress and appreciates the community’s patience during this service interruption.

✅ Plastic bottles, jugs, and containers for food, beverages, and soap are typically recyclable in your curbside recycling cart or bin.
✅ A quick rinse to remove sticky liquids or foods is all you need to do to recycle plastic containers.
❌ Never put plastic bags or plastic film in your curbside recycling cart. Instead, check to see if a grocery store near you offers receptacles for plastic film recycling.

Visit www.wrrma.org for extra recycling tips & info.
